Please read these terms carefully before booking your stay at Signature Stays. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Booking & Reservation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. By completing a reservation, you enter into a direct contract with Signature Stays (operated by Mojassia Ventures).

  • Booking confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking. Please verify all details.
  • Age requirement: Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
  • Special requests: While we strive to accommodate, special requests are not guaranteed.
  • Group bookings: Different terms may apply for groups of 5+ rooms – please contact us directly.

Payment Terms

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and bank transfers. Full payment is required at the time of booking for non-refundable rates. For standard rates:

  • A deposit of 30% is required to confirm the booking.
  • Balance payment is due at check-in.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • We do not store any credit card information on our servers.

Cancellation & Refund

Cancellations must be made in writing to reservations@signaturestay.in. The cancellation policy varies by rate type and season:

  • 30+ days before check-in: Full refund
  • 15–29 days before: 75% refund
  • 7–14 days before: 50% refund
  • 3–6 days before: 25% refund
  • Less than 48 hours: No refund
  • Non-refundable rates: No cancellation or refund permitted.

Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in time: 12:00 PM (early check-in subject to availability)
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM (late check-out may incur additional charges)
  • Valid government ID is required for all guests at check-in.
  • Reception is available 24x7 for your convenience.

Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are expected to maintain reasonable noise levels, especially after 10:00 PM.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
  • Pets are not allowed unless explicitly permitted in writing.
  • Damage to property will be charged to the guest.
  • The hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings.

Property Rules

  • Pool timings: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Children must be supervised.
  • Outside food and liquor are not permitted in common areas.
  • Commercial photography/videography requires prior permission.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and safety instructions.

Limitation of Liability

Signature Stays shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your stay. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for your reservation.

We are not responsible for events beyond our control including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions, natural disasters
  • Power outages, utility failures
  • Health emergencies, government restrictions
  • Travel disruptions, strikes

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chikmagalur, Karnataka.
